Matthew Sours - Stylist/Owner
Matthew Sours founded Splat Hair Design in 2010. He is a 2004 graduate of the ACWHCC. Matthew has been passionate about hair his whole life. After taking a tour of the cosmetology class in 8th grade, he knew that was the path he was going to take. He has done hair for beauty pageants, fashion shows, weddings, photo shoots, a movie, and more. He loves to be creative and help others along their hair journey.
Derrick Bowersock, LMT - Massage Therapist
Derrick Bowersock graduated as a student of Masso Therapy at the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage in 2011. He is a licensed massage therapist with the State Medical Board of Ohio (LMT). He became interested in massage therapy while he was studying Psychology at OSU, which led him to the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage. Derrick believes that positive physical touch is an underestimated and often forgotten necessity of life like food and shelter. Derrick has many other interests including music and woodworking.
Ashton Bohn - Stylist
Ashton has been a stylist for 12 years and worked at Splat for 9 years building her clientele, starting as an intern trained by owner Matthew after graduating from the ACWHCC in 2011. Ashton's favorite thing to do behind the chair is any type of color. She loves having creative freedom and giving her guests a boost of confidence with their new look! She is passionate about not only the beauty side of the hair industry, but the science and health of the hair. In her spare time Ashton enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, daughter Jocelyn, and fur baby Phoebe!
Charleigh Carr - Stylist
Charleigh has been a stylist for over 9 years. She became interested in hair when she struggled through high school with managing her own. It gives her great joy guiding her diverse clientele through their own hair journeys. She loves to do bold, fun colors but also everyday natural looks. When not at the salon, Charleigh enjoys spending time hiking and being by the lake.
Lindsey Fruth - Stylist/Nail Tech
Lindsey is a 2014 graduate from ACCA, she's been doing hair for a little over a year now. Fashion colors and creative nails are what's she's drawn to most, but she loves to be able to give people the look that gives them the most confidence and helps them love the way they look in their own skin. In her spare time, Lindsey loves to spend time with her son, Wyatt.

Kelly graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2015 with a degree in Fashion Design. Kelly feels most comfortable in an environment where she can be creative and work with other creative people. Kelly’s interests and hobbies include makeup, fashion, spending time with animals, gardening, and renovating her home with her partner Derrick.
